How It Started

Landmark Construction is a design-build general contracting firm headquartered in Jacksonville, Florida, serving communities across Northeast Florida and statewide. In 2003, Alex Senchuk started the company with one truck, a small crew, and a frustration with how most contractors operated. He watched companies cut corners, dodge accountability, and treat employees like they were disposable.

He built Landmark on the opposite model: hire the best people, keep them in-house, pay them well, train them constantly, and deliver every project on time and on budget — no exceptions.

Twenty-three years later, most of those original crew members are still here. Landmark has grown to 65+ employees, completed over 8,000 projects, and maintains a 95% first-time inspection pass rate. Still to this day, Alex is personally involved in every single project.

Today, Alex's sons Dante and Jaden work alongside him — bringing a new generation of energy to the same standards he set two decades ago. The Landmark legacy doesn't end here.
